情态动词should的被动语态I think „和 Do you think„?的用法

1. 情态动词should的被动语态

should做情态动词，意为“应当，应该”，含情态动词should的被动语态结构为“should＋be＋及物动词的过去分词”；否定形式在should后加not；疑问形式将should提前。例如：

 The plan should be put into practice as soon as possible.这项计划应该尽早实施。  Waste paper should not thrown here.废止不应该仍在这里。

 Should we celebrate the foreign holiday? 我们应该庆祝外国的节日吗？ 2. I think „和 Do you think„?的用法 ① I think„是委婉地提出看法的交际用语，意为“我认为„” ，其后接宾语从句，用陈

述语序。如果表示同意，就用I agree;如果不同意，就用I disagree.其疑问形式为Do you think „?意为“你认为„吗？” 例如：

 —I think he is right.我认为他是对的。

—I agree.我同意。（你的看法）

 Do you think he is right? 你认为他对吗？ ② 在回答 Do you think„?问句时，如果同意对方的看法，表示肯定，通常用Yes, I do.

或I think／believe so.等；如果不同意对方的看法，表示否定，通常用No, I don’t think／believe so.或I think／believe not.或I am afraid not.等。例如：

 —Do you think I need see a doctor? 你认为我应该看一下医生吗？

—I don’t think so.我认为不需要。

 —Do you think sixteen—year—olds should be allowed to work at night? 你认

为应该允许16岁的孩子在晚上工作吗？

—No, I don’t.／I don’t think so.／I think not. 我认为不应该。 ③ 当think，believe，suppose，expect等动词的宾语从句表示否定意义时，一般要转移

否定词的位置，即形式上否定以上这些动词，意思上仍否定其宾语从句所表示的内容，这种现象称为“否定前移”。例如：

 I don’t think(that)you have made mistakes.我认为你没有犯错。  We don’t believe he will succeed.我们相信他不会成功的。 ④ do you think 可做插入语，从而构成句子“疑问句＋do you think＋其他（陈述语序）”。

类似的插入语还有do you suggest／guess／guess／believe／imagine/suppose /say等。例如：

 Who do you think the man is? 你认为这个人是谁？

 How much money did he say he spent in travelling abroad? 他说他在国外旅行花

了多上钱？

 How many people do you guess attended the lecture? 你猜有多少人去听了演讲
