外国名著英文读后感 We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality. And this was not merely a dream. Because she had large eyes which can earn others’ sympathy, even love. She had wonderful figure which can win others’ hearts. However, anything she got, anywhere she reached, had not come from her ambition. Things happened, and then she accepted. That‘s what she had just done ? just to accept willingly from the bottom of her heart. She was not at all an evil woman who would give anything for the fortune or fame. However, she would give uo something for a better life when her instinct defeated her intellect. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn’t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century. We can't imagine living in a world without light and sound,so we can't perceive the spiritual world of disabled people who are blind,deaf or even dumb.Have you ever thought if we lose our eyeslight and hearing one day ,how can we live the rest of our life ?Heller Keller in her famous essay"If I Had Three Days to See"gives us her answer. After reading the essay,Iwas deeply moved by Heller's spirit.Heller was blind ,deaf and dumb.She suffered much from such a great misfortune in her childhood,but her inner world was very rich.She longed for three day's lights to feel the world.She would like to see people who gave her love and friendship.In order to know the soul of human ,she planned to appreciate opera and literature.She intended to experience people's daily life. One of my friends had recommended the book Gone with the Wind almost two years’ ago, but my reading plan was just put off, for the book is really too thick and I even no courage to start. However, this semester I made my mind to read and I found myself was totally lost in the absorbing plots and the attractive characters the author portrayed. I was impressed by the war, the love and the hero Scarlett O’Hara, who would also be a charming and successful woman in today’s modern society, I think. I regret having done something unvaluable and hardly realizing the lazy live attitude in the past.Now,I understand we should cherish every minute of our lifetime.That is to say,make good use of every sence to feel the world and enrich your life.Be pround of everything wonderful and pleasant the world shows! On the other hand, I do really like Lu Yao’s starting point---ordinary world. Their world is ordinary, this is just one of the tens of thousands of villages in loess plateau. But Lu Yao have seen the character out of the common in the protagonists. Take Sun shaoping as an example, he had a secondary education and through a self-study came to a undergraduate level. The author put many excellent qualities to this leading role. All the roles in Lu Yao’s novel are ordinary people, but all the marvelous characters in their body made them different. 《名人传》由法国著名作家罗曼•罗兰的《贝多芬传》、《米开朗琪罗传》和《托尔斯泰传》组成，它们均创作于二十世纪初期，无论在当时是在后世都产生了广泛的影响。在这三部传记中，罗曼•罗兰是紧紧把握住这三位拥有各自领域的艺术家的共同之处，着力刻画了他们为追求真善美而长期忍受苦难的心路历程。书中写了三个世界上赫赫有名的人物。第一个是德国作曲家：贝多芬;另一个是意大利的天才雕刻家：米开朗基罗;最后一个是俄罗斯名作家：托尔斯泰。 The social rule made her feel guilty and want to die. Unfortunately, her father just thought that she brought shame upon his noble name. No one could comfort her broken heart except herself. She kept all the people out her house and stayed alone and wanted to do heavy things to forget her past. The I was very happy to see that she knew such a thing shouldn’t prevent her from living an useful life.
