Some of My Unforgettable Games为题,英语写一篇100-120词的短文。

Some of My Unforgettable Games

When I was young, I always enjoyed playing with my friends. I particularly remember two games I used to play when I was about ten years old.

There was a wood which seemed quite big near my home. We used to hunt each other in the wood. If there were six or eight of us ,we used to divide into two groups. Hiding behind trees and running silently, we played like this for hours and afterwards we returned to a wooden house to make meals. Unfortunately, one day the floor of the house caught on fire. Although we put the fire out, my father didnt allow us to cook in again.

Another game I remember was one we used to play at school. There was a high wall running along the school playground, below which was a pond. We used to see who could walk along the wall fastest without falling down. But our teacher ordered us to stop playing and never do it.

There's no denying thatforgiveness is anoblequality. With forgiveness people will live in aharmonious waywith forgiveness, people can overcome any difficultywith forgiveness,

Forgiveness is what I learned from my class teacher, which has a great influence on my growth.

Two years ago, I, together with Tom, who was regarded as the best basketball player in my class, took part in the basketball final of our school on behalf of our class. With only 20 seconds left, our team still took a lead by two points. To our favor, the ball was in Tom’s hand! Had Tom passed it in time, we would certainly have won. But Tom chose to break through. Suddenly, our rival stole the ball, and shot a three points! After the match, we all demanded the teacher fire Tom. But our teacher told us to forgive him, saying forgiveness is a good medicine for some diseases. After that, Tom did learn team work.

It was forgiveness rather than pity that changed Tom.

On self-funded travel

Nowadays, an increasing number of people prefer self-funded travel, a kind of travel that is organized by the travelers themselves properly and freely.

The reasons for the popularity of self-funded travel are followed. First of all, the travelers can not only arrange time freely but also choose the sights they like. Thus, they can enjoy the travel to the full. Besides, they can learn to take care of themselves and be independent when they are alone outdoors, which helps to improve their ability. Last but not least, self-funded travel is a fabulous opputunity to challenge themselves and a successful experience can give the selfhelpers a sense of achievement.

At last, I will give some tips for self-funded travel.Pprepare in advance and think twice. Be well-prepared, so you can deal with the sudden incidents in a better way. What’s more, pay enough attention to safety. Disease or property loss can make the travel dull.

Developing the ability of making good choices is a part of growing up”。

Developing the ability of making good choices is part of growing up.

As we grow up, we face many moments of making choices such as who to keep company, which university to go and so on. No matter what choices you make, they will have a certain effect on us in turn. Therefore it is a must to develop the ability of making good choices. When I was a middle school student, my family went through a period of hard time so that I had to miss a few classes, which made my grades drop dramatically. Worried about my future, people around suggested me to apply for a technical secondary school. Faced with this dilemma, I thought it a suitable choice to go to a high school. Since then, I had spared no effort to catch up with others. As a consequence, I was admitted to my ideal school.

I hold the firm belief that only by making smart choices can we gain what we pursue.

I still remember

I still remember how I broke father's favorite vase in my childhood.

One afternoon I was playing hide-and-seek with my neighbors in my house. There was a large table in the corner, on which stood a very beautiful vase handed down from my grandpA Father cherished it very much. When I tried to hide myself under the table, I broke it by accident.I was too frightened to admit it, lying it was the cat that was to blame.

Afterwards, the lie was bothering me though father didn't discover it.How regretful I was for what I had done. Finally I gathered my courage to tell the truth. Now I feel relieved, just as an English proverb goes“Honesty is the best policy.”

Gains from Growing Pains Growing up is not always a very enjoyable time.

Growing up is not always a very enjoyable time. It means we have to work hard. As for my childhood, my parents made me learn to play the violin so I had no time to play with other friends. I got very annoyed. I hated music, just because it was what they wanted me to do. Sometimes I felt puzzled and trapped. I even complained why I was a child.

Now, looking back, I am so glad that my parents encouraged me to take music lessons, which can enrich my life. I come to realize why my parents are always pushing me along. Everybody is to experience growing pains, which are just small pains in life. A little hard work and sweat never hurt us.

If we realize these pains are just small bumps on our road to success, we will realize our growing pains are actually growing gains.
