College English Teaching in China About college English teaching At present, English plays an important role in many aspects in the world. However, a part of people consider that college English teaching arises in trouble in China. For example, some college students do not well in speaking English, some have problems in writing English, and others have trouble in listening English. As far as I concerned, the reasons why it does not perfect are in two parts. One is the college students' fault which learning English is not taken seriously, and don't realize the importance of English. Because they think the knowledge of English leaned in high school is enough. Besides, the freedom of college life is much more than before. It makes bad influence for many students. On the other hand, a lot of colleges do not offer good environment for English learning. In addition, there are many things attract students' attention in society like electronic products and so on. In this occasion, as for students, making them be attracted by English is what we should do. In that the interest is the best teacher. In the class, colleges can offer boxes to put mobile phones, MP5 and so on. In addition, improving their ability of self-control is an effective way to deal with it. Although the problem is caused by many reasons, we also should be in a positive attitude and try our best to solve it.
