Lesson 6 Things for School 【教学目标】 1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇：thing，need，list，ten，six，seven，one，nine，eight。 2.让学生了解电子邮件的正确写法。 【教学重难点】 1.掌握一些与学校和学习用品有关的词汇：thing，list，friend，nice，class，pencil，ruler，lab等。 2.能够运用所学知识介绍自己学校的一些基本情况。 3.掌握以下重点句子： ①I have some new friends this year. ②What about your new school? ③I need to buy some things for my classes. ④Can I buy all of these things at the store? 【教学准备】 录音机、幻灯片、图片 ┃教学过程设计┃ 一、创设情境，切入主题 Step 1：Lead－in Lead－in by discussing the following questions： 1.What does Danny think of his school？ 2.What does Danny need to buy？ Discuss the questions in groups.Divide the class into three or four groups to finish the task.After several minutes，let some groups show their answers in front of the class. 二、展开过程，探究新知 Step 2：Listening Listen to the tape and answer the following questions： 1.Does Danny have new friends this year？ 2.What does Danny think of these new friends？ Finish the task in class orally. Step 3：Reading Read the text and answer the following questions： 1.How is Danny？ 2.What will Danny buy these things for？ 3.Where can Danny buy these things？ Finish the task in class orally. Read the text again，and then let the students retell the e－mail in their own words. Step 4：Activities Suppose you want to buy some things for your classes，and make a shopping list. Finish the task in groups.After a few minutes，let some groups show their results in front of the class. Step 5：Come to“Let’s Do It！” Listen to the tape and finish Exercise 1 together. Read the passage again and answer the questions of Exercise 2.
