My Father I have made acquaintance with many people, among whom my father has an effective influence on my life. My father is a farmer, ordinary as he is, he possesses many precious spirits, which I admire most are his perseverance and hard-work. Thinking back to 5 years ago, it was a sowing season, every family was engaged in sowing seeds, so did my family. One day, my father started out before day broke, it was not long before the heavy rain had approached. Seeing this, I brought an umbrella to him and advocated that he go home first and continue later, but what my father told me was that “As you sow, so will you reap. Life can be tough sometimes, if you give up on account of hardships easily, you will miss a lot of beautiful sceneries along your life road.” Finally, I had to give in. Despite of the heavy rain, dad did not go home till he got all seeds finished. Thinks to my father’s noble spirits, my family gained a harvest that year. Morever, my father’s spirits benefited me a lot, which motivated me to study hard. Such is my father, a hard-working and persevent person!
