Dear Mr Jenkins,

Happy birthday to you! It is my honour to be invited to your birthday party tonight. But I am terribly sorry to say that I can’t accept your invitation. Just now I received a notice by a company which offered me a chance to have an interview tomorrow. To broaden my horizon and gain some experience, I applied to the company for a temporary position in my winter holiday. I cherish it the chance so much that I have to make prepare full preparations for it. You are not only my best teacher but also my best friend. It is sure that you will give me your understanding.

A bunch of flowers with my best wishes will reach you tonight. Happy birthday to you again.
