The Lion and The Mouse

Long long ago, a little mouse was playing with his friends in the forest when he bumped a lion who was sleeping.

很久很久以前，有一只小老鼠和它的朋友一起玩，不小心撞到了一只睡觉的狮子。

Suddenly, the lion opened his eyes and was very angry. 突然间，这只狮子睁开眼睛，并且很生气。 He caught the little mouse and was about to eat the mouse.

它抓住这只小老鼠并且打算吃掉它。

But the little mouse said: “Please don’t eat me, Mr.lion. Let me go, and maybe I can help you someday.

A few days later, the mouse was sleeping in his bed when he heard the lion cried: Help! Help!

He ran to the lion and found the lion was caught in a net by the hunter.

At last, the lion was saved. 最后，狮子得救了。

He was very thankful for the mouse. 它对老鼠非常感恩。 He said: “Thank you, little mouse, you’re my dear friend.” 它说：“谢谢你，小老鼠，你是我亲爱的朋友。”
