More and more resources are expended, more and more pollution occurs, global warming accelerates, and a variety of living creatures are on the brink of extinction. In order to protect the environment, it is of great importance for us to take action. First, we should reduce the use of paper as much as possible. Instead of using paper towels and napkins, we can choose to use cloth towels and napkins. And we can put reminders on our electronic devices to save the amount of paper being used. Also, we can print our documents in double-side and have a digital version of files to decrease the amount of paper being used. Second, we should avoid buying products with excessive packaging materials. For example, if we only need one bottle of shampoo, then we don’t need to buy a pack of three or even more bottles. Additionally, we can choose to bring our own bags when shopping and make sure not to use plastic bags. Third, we should actively participate in activities that promote environmental protection. For example, during Earth Day, we can join the various activities to join the crowd and spread the message of environmental protection. Finally, we should take action to prevent over-hunting and illegal poaching. People should abide by the laws and regulations to ensure that the number of animals does not decrease drastically. Protecting the environment is not only our responsibility but also the responsibility of future generations.
