第一课时 Lets talk and Lets play

一、教学内容

本课时是《PEP小学英语》三年级上册第四单元第一课时的内容,主要学习“I have a……”及感叹语“Cool! Super! Great! Wow!,要求学生能根据实际情景有感情地表达自己的惊讶之情。 二、教学目标 1.知识目标

①能听懂会说:Look! I have a …….

②在创设的情景中,能用I have a ……表达自己有某物。 ③能听懂会说单词monkey, rabbit, panda, cat, dog, zoo. 2.情感目标

①培养学生用英语简单抒发情感的意识,使学生能听懂、会说几个常用的感叹语:Cool! Super! Great! Wow! ②培养学生热爱动物的情感。 三、教学重、难点 ①重点:句型I have a ……”及感叹语:Cool! Super! Great! Wow! ②难点:表示几种动词的单词和感叹语的发音。 四、教学方法

通过课件、实物、游戏、趣味活动以及体态语等方法,为孩子们创设一个英语环境,让他们在语境中融入到语言的学习中。 五、教

①动物玩具:monkey, rabbit, panda, dogduck ②课件

六、教学过程:

Step 1 Warming Up

Lets sing

THi, boys and girls . Its time to begin our class. Lets sing an English song, OK? SsOK

TStand up , please . Are you ready? Oh, good! Ready, go!

(The teacher sings together with the students) Step 2 Presentation Lead-in

TWow ! Sit down, please! You are so great! Now I introduce you some friends. They are the same great as you! They can


speak English. Who wants to talk with them? SsLet me try .

(The teacher asks one student to stand up, and makes the following conversation)

T(The teacher imitates the voice of a rabbit and shows it to the class.) How are you?

S1Im fine . Thank you very much.

TCool! Please have a seat! (The teacher then asks the whole class.) Whats this? SsRabbit! (Some students may answer the question in Chinese.) TGreat! I have a rabbit! (The teacher writes the key sentence on the blackboard.) Now, continue (The teacher introduces other words in the same way .) Read after the teacher

TWow ! I have so many animals. I love animals. (The teacher shows the rabbit toy again.) Look, I have a rabbit. Follow me, please. Rabbit, a rabbit, I have a rabbit. SsRabbit , a rabbit , I have a rabbit . (Teach other words in the same way.) Step 3 Consolidation

TLets watch TV . When you see an animal, please say it in English. Understand? (Then the teacher shows pictures.) SsDuck !/ Dog! /……

TWow ! /Great! /Cool! /Super! (The teacher evaluates students by using these words.) They are in the zoo .Follow me, zoo, a zoo, I have a zoo. (The teacher writes the word on the blackboard.)

TNow , lets listen. Which animals can you hear?

TWell , we can hear

Ss: Rabbit, panda, monkey .The teacher answers together. TVery good ! When we express our feeling of surprise, we can use Cool! / Super! / Great! / Wow! (The teacher writes the words on the blackboard.) OK, lets read.



Step 4 Practice

TNow , lets practice . If I say I have a rabbit, you can say wow ! or super ! …… OK?

T(Show a toy ) Look ! I have a rabbit. SsWow !/ Great! / Cool!/ Super !

TLets make a change . Who wants to be the teacher? S2Let me try . (Shows a toy) I have a dog. SsWow ! Great! Cool! Super!

TSuper ! Now lets play an interesting game in pairs. For example, one student chooses a number, and says Look! I have a dog. The other says Wow! to express his or her feeling. Understand? SsYeah !

(The teacher chooses two or three pairs to play the game.) Step 5 Conclude and Homework

T: In this period, all of you did a very good job and learnt a lot. Animals are our friends and we love animals. Enjoy a song Old Mac Donald TOh ! Im tired. Are you tired? Well, lets enjoy a song Old MacDonald.
