The Most Unforgettable Decision I’ve Made Everyone is required or forced to make many decisions during his lifetime and so am I. But the most unforgettable decision is the one made after I graduated from junior high school. Let me explain the decision environment first. I live in a remote city lying in the south of Sichuan Province. As is known to all, schools in big cities tend to be better than those in small cities. Consequencely, there formed a trend for students to get good education in prosperous cities, and I’m no exception. I took the entrance examination of the best high school in Sichuan and fortunately passed it. Though it is a good thing, there came the problem. If I went to Chengdu for better education, I would have access to good teachers and good studying environment while I had to leave my beloved parents and friends to live in a strange city along for three years. On the other hand, if I stayed in PZH, I would be with my parents and friends at the sacrifice of excellent studying conditions which meant I might not achieve that much. Taking everything into account, it was an insoluble dilemma for me. I don’t have the resolution to make decision since it was so significant for my whole life. It took me several days to weigh each factor and analyze the outcomes of different choices. Sometimes I went so far as to wonder whether there was another alternative. I was really bewildered. Finally, I made the hard decision. Because I attached so much significance to my future or exactly my college entrance examination that the desire for good teachers and good studying environment contributed most to my final decision. I made up my mind to go to Chengdu for high school and keep in touch with my parents and friends by telephone and QQ. It is the first important decision I have ever made. It took me so much time and energy and I finally made the proper decision which I do not regret now. How fortunate I am!
