The general view is that the humanities is better at Oxford, while Cambridge has more advantage on Science and engineering. Universities are ranked everyyear, the two universities are the first and second alternatingly. With the development of hi-technology in recent years, Cambridge has been relatively strong and often ranks higher in this area. Cambridge in the world rankings is also higher than Oxford.
