动名词的用法 动名词是非谓语动词的一种，非谓语动词包括动名词，动词不定式，动词的分词形式（现在分词和过去分词） 形式： V-ing, 作用：可以做主语、宾语、表语和定语 1）、做主语：Doing morning excercises is good for your health . Learning from mistakes is important . 注意：动名词作主语可以用it 作形式主语，动名词放到后边 It is no use waiting here . Let's go home . It is very difficult climbing the mountain . 常用这种结构的有： It is no use / good / useless + doing ... It is a waste of time + doing ... It is fun + doing e.g. It 's no use crying over spilt milk . It's fun playing with children . 2）动名词作宾语： 中学我们常见的后跟动名词作宾语的动词和短语有： enjoy , practice , finish ,keep on， mind , miss, consider ,give up , depend on , look forward to , pay attention to , can't help ,feel like , be worth , be used to , 完成练习值得忙（finish , practice , be worth , be busy) 继续习惯别放弃（keep ,be used to ,give up ) 考虑建议不禁想（consider , suggest , can't help,feel like ) 喜欢思念要介意（enjoy , miss , mind ) How do you practice playing the piano ? We are looking forward to seeing you . He can't help laughing . Your father should give up smoking . 另外：作介词的宾语：by doing I learn physics by doing a lot of experiments . 3).动名词作表语： His job is cleaning the room. His hobby is collecting stamps . 4). 动名词作定语：通常表示它所修饰的名词的用途,或类属，置于所修饰词的前边 She is in the reading room . We should improve our teaching method . swimming pool , waiting room . washing machine .. 另外：有些动词后跟动名词和不定式都可以，但是意义大不一样 forget to do 忘记做某事（事情未发生）forget doing 忘记做过某事（事情发生过了） remember to do 记得去做， remember doing 记得做过 stop to do 停下来去做， stop doing ,停止做 regret to do 对要做的事情遗憾 ， regret doing 对做过的事情遗憾 try to do 尽力，努力去做， try doing 尝试做 mean to do .打算，有意做 mean doing 意味着 I don't mean to hurt you !
