内容摘要



英语教学的目的在于培养学生语言知识能力和语言应用能力。为了实现这一目标,英语教师不仅要帮助学生熟练掌握英语语言知识,而且还要注重培养学生的语言能力,让他们参与各种交际活动。长期以来,我国的初中英语教学在应试教育的压力下,教师过分重视语法和词汇的讲解与传授,忽视了对学生实际语言应用能力的培养,使学生在语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等方面跟不上知识经济时代的发展需要,传统的英语学法在很大程度上已经不能应对时代对人才培养的要求。随着我国课改的不断发展,一系列新的教学法也相继涌现,其中尤以交际教学法最为普及。英语交际教学法在初中口语课堂上的应用,能够有效激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生主动的参与到学习活动中,促使英语学科更加的生动和有趣,进而提升学生运用语言的能力。 关键词:交际教学法;初中口语教学;应用

Abstract



The purpose of English teaching is to cultivate students’ ability of language knowledge and language application ability. In order to achieve this goal, English teachers should not only help students master English language knowledge, but also pay attention to cultivate the students’ language ability, let them to participate in various social activities. For a long time, our country’s junior middle school English teaching is under the pressure of examination-oriented education. The interpretation of teachers puts too much emphasis on grammar and vocabulary teaching. They neglect the cultivation of student’s actual language application ability. As a result, the students’ language skills, language knowledge, emotional attitudes, learning strategies and cultural awareness can’t keep up with the era of knowledge economy development needs. The traditional English teaching method to some degree does not consider the requirement for talents cultivation. With the continuous development of curriculum reform in our country, a series of new teaching methods are emerging one after another, notably the communicative approach (CA) or the communicative teaching method (CTM) which is the most popular. The application of the oral English communicative teaching method in junior high school class can effectively stimulate the students’ interest in learning, let the students actively participate in learning activities, make the English subject livelier and more interesting, and raise the ability of the students to use the English language.
