Warming up & Leading in

1. The teacher greeted the students with enthusiasm and said hello, and the students said hello to each other.

2. The students sang "ABC song" to create an atmosphere and lead in new lessons.

Presentation & Practice students a riddle to elicit “pig”.

2. Present the picture of a pig and six boxes of milk and ask the student: This is the pig’s favorite drink. Let’s count how many boxes can it drink every morning to elicit “milk””six” .

3. Present the picture of a small pig and a big pig to compare and elicit “big”

4. Let students compare 4 words and find what’s the same to elicit /I/. 5. Let’s chant about /I/.

6. Show students the phonics reader and blend some other words about /I/.

: Sharp eyes. The teacher shows students the words quickly and students say the words.

8. Listen to the tape and repeat.

9. Do the action to elicit the content of the chant ”A big pink pig” and read after the tape.

10. Make the word according to teacher’s order by using the letters on the blackboard.

11. Trace the words with fingers following the video and write them down. the words correctly to open the mystery gift. Extension

students some balloons with “bike, nice, Mike, like” on them to elicit /ai/. some words about /ai/ and read. the choice questions about /I/ and /ai/ Summary

The teacher and students summarize this lesson. Homework
