第四讲 冠词 冠词是一种虚词，本身不能独立使用，只能附着一个名词上帮助说明这个词的含义。 一、冠词的分类 a 用在以辅音音素开头的名词前 1.不定冠词 an 用在以元音音素开头的名词前 冠词 [ðə] 用在以辅音音素开头的名词前 2.定冠词the [ði:] 用在以元音音素开头的名词前 ___ Australian ____ university ____ hour 二、不定冠词的用法 1.表示“一”这个数量，意思和one 相同 He will come back in a week. 2.表示“某一个”或第一次提到的人或物 A teacher from Beijing is coming to see you. 3.不强调“一”或“某一个”，只表示类别 She is an English teacher. 4.用在某些固定搭配中 a piece of with a smile for a long time 三、定冠词的用法 1.特指上文已经提到过的人或物 Here is a jeep and a track.. The jeep is made in Beijing and the track is made in Shenyang. 2.特指某个人或物（某些人或物） The students of Class Two are having an English lesson. 3.表示世界上独一无二的事物 The earth is bigger than the moon. 4.用在序数词和形容词最高级的前面 Sunday is the first day of the week. Spring is the best season of the year. 5.和某些形容词连用，表示一类人或事物 We should take care of the old. 6.用于沙漠、河流、群山、岛屿或海湾、海洋的名词前 the Sahara the Changjiang River 7.用在某些固定搭配 in the morning by the way at the end of 8.乐器名词前要加the play the piano /violin /guitar 9.普通名词构成的专有名词 the Great Wall the Palace Museum 四、不用冠词的情况 1.球类、棋类运动前不用冠词 play basketball play bridge 2.三餐前不用冠词 have breakfast/ lunch 3.星期、月份、季节、节日前不用冠词 Summer comes after spring. June 1st is Children’s Day. 4.表示国籍的名词前不用冠词 China England America 5.某种语言前不用冠词 Can you speak in English? 6.交通工具前有by时不用冠词 Do you go to work by bus？ 7.用在某些词组中 at home go to bed on time at night 8.名词前如已经有this、that、these、those、my、your、his、her、their、some、any、every、each、which、whose修饰时，不用冠词 Mrs Brown went to see her doctor.
