What is the real equality between male and female In the days when a woman＇s entire obligation was to be a good daughter, a good wife and a good mother, men and women were far from equal. Women suffered sexual discrimination until the so-called feminism came into being. Nowadays, feminism has been running for over a century, and euqlity is also prevailing for many years. And most of us agree that men and women should enjoy equality in this modern society. But what on earth does equality mean? To be equal is to share everything with men? Men can apply for labor jobs, so are these jobs suitable to women? Womon can give birth to a baby; is it suitable for man to do so? Undoubtly, women are different from men both physically and mentally. It is unwise or even stupid to ignore all these differences and pursue the so called "equal world". Equality is not bisecting everything. Real equality should be built upon the common sense of the basic sexual differences. Since some of the jobs can only be done well enough by men, women should not feel discriminated when we fail. After all, there’re also some jobs, which can only be perfectly done with women＇s hands. These are not symbols of inequality, but natural laws. Real equality also involves in basic rights such as reputation, respect. Once women’s reasonable and lawful rights are invaded, they should stand up to defend themselves. Otherwise, women have no need to follow the equality. For example, some women must apply for labor jobs. Is it equal to the women? The answer is not, for women have to pay more persperation to acquire the same salary as men get. To enjoy the real equality, people should do the job according to their own condition, according to the natural law. Women did have the equal rights to pursue the high position and payment as men one the condition that they don’t feel too strenuous. And they should bear in mind that equality is not an absolute concept, it harbors a relative meaning.
