管理信息系统Management information system This course is divided into 4 parts.

The first part is introduction to management information system. Management information system can be defined as a combination of computers and people that are used to provide information to aid making decisions and managing a firm. The MIS is one of the major computer-based information systems. Its purpose is to meet the general information needs of all the managers in the firm or in some organizational subdivision of the firm. There are three essential components for the MIS. They are management, information and system. Management refers to the activities involved in the four general functions: planning, organizing, leading and controlling. Information is defined as some tangible or intangible entity that reduces uncertainty about some state or event. System is a group of elements that are integrated with the common purpose of achieving an objective.

第一部分是管理信息系统的介绍。管理信息系统可以定义为计算机和人员的组合,用于提供信息以帮助决策和管理公司。管理信息系统(MIS)是主要的计算机信息系统之一。它的目的是满足公司或公司某些组织部门所有管理者的一般信息需求。管理信息系统有三个基本组成部分。它们是管理、信息和系统。管理是指涉及规划、组织、领导和控制四大职能的活动。信息被定义为一些有形或无形的实体,可以减少对某一状态或事件的不确定性。系统是一组与实现目标的共同目的相结合的要素。

System development life cycle (SDLC) is the overall process of developing information systems through a multi-step process from investigation of initial requirements to analysis, design, implementation and maintenance.

系统开发生命周期是通过一个从初始需求的调研到分析、设计、实施以及维护的多步骤的开发信息系统的全过程。

The second part is systems analysis. Systems analysis is an explicit formal inquiry carried out to help the decision maker identify a better course of action and make a better decision than he might have made.

第二部分是系统分析。系统分析是一种明确且正式的调查,通过实施它来帮助决策者更好地定义决策过程和有可能使决策者做出一个更好的决策。

At the moment, there is no method that ensures success and that can be viewed as a “right” way for analysis but the application of the structured systems analysis increases the chance of success.

目前,还没有一种方法能够确保成功,并且可以被视为一种正确的分析方法,但是结构化系统分析的应用增加了成功的机会。

The structured system analysis method is to divide a large system into several modules with proper size, clear functions, independence and easy to implement, so as to transform the complex system into the design of multiple simple modules.

结构化的系统分析方法就是将一个大的系统划分成多个大小适当、功能明确,具有一定独立性且容易实现的模块,从而把复杂的系统转变为多个简单模块的设计。


System design is the process of meeting the required objectives to the maximum extent according to the analysis results. The system is divided into independent sub modules. The flow chart of information system and E-R chart are drawn for each sub module.Then the code is designed according to the function of each module.After determining the goal and structure of the system, the system can be implemented.

系统设计就是根据分析的结果,最大限度满足所要求的目标的过程。将系统划分为独立的子模块,对各个子模块绘制信息系统流程图以及E-R图。然后根据各模块功能进行代码设计。在确定了系统的目标和结构之后,就可以进行系统实施。



The fourth part is testing and evaluating to systems performance. The test goal should be to discover each kind of latent mistakes and flaws of the system by the least time and man power. The so-called systems evaluating is to estimate, inspect, test, analyze and examine the performance of management information systems.

第四部分是系统性能测试与评估。测试的目标应该是以最少的时间和人力发现系统中各种潜在的错误和缺陷。所谓系统评价,就是对管理信息系统的性能进行评价、检查、测试、分析和考核。

At the same time of collecting the data of the problem environment and analyzing the information needs of users, the idea of how to improve the information function is also formed in the minds of analysts, so as to improve and perfect the system.

在收集问题环境的数据和分析用户的信息需求的同时,关于如何改进信息功能的想法也在分析员的头脑中形成,从而对系统进行改进完善。
