——第一课时

教学目标

1. 知识与能力目标

能够听说读写以下单词:autumnfestivalHalloween, mask, scary. 能够听说认读以下单词:trick or treat, Jack-o-lantern.

能够听说读写重点句型:It’s an autumn festival. It’s really fun. They wear scary masks. 2. 情感态度目标

了解有关万圣节的知识,在巩固语言知识的同时比较中西方文化,感受中西文化差异,体会文化的碰撞,进而体会跨文化背景下学习语言的乐趣,培养学生积极的学习热情。

教学重点

熟练掌握以下单词:autumnfestivalHalloween, mask, scary.的听说读写。

教学难点

熟练掌握重点句型:It’s an autumn festival. It’s really fun. They wear scary masks.

教学方法

情景教学法和游戏教学法。

课前准备

教学课件, 面具,图片,糖果。

课时安排 1课时 教学过程

Step 1. 导课

1. 图示:富有节日特色的mooncake, moon,进行free talk, 让学生猜What’s that? What’s the festival? 引出话题:It is an autumn festival. Do you know about western festival---Halloween?

2. 朗读课题,学习新词Halloween.提醒注意ee的发音。 Step 2. 新授

1. 放一段关于Halloween 的录像,进一步了解节日的知识,提问: Is it really fun?

Is it a(an) spring/autumn festival?




2. New teaching

(1) 听读课文,整体感知第一段,QWhat’s the festival? 引出答语并结合图片巩固操练:It’s an autumn festival. It’s really fun.

(2) 听读课文,整体感知第二段, QDo children wear scary clothes/hats/masks? Do they go to people’s house? What do children do on Halloween? 进而操练句型:Children wear scary clothes. They go to people’s house. They scary the people. They say, “whoooooo!”(清楚they是代词,代替children)

(3) 听课文,出示问题What do people do on Halloween?/ 让学生到课文中把答案划出来,然后谈论。

(4) Listen an repeat. Ss read the text in small groups . Try to help each other about the text . Let Ss listen to the text . Ss read the text in small groups again .Teach Ss the important and

difficult words. Ss read the text together . Ss say the sentence by playing games. 3. Act.

Imagine you are having Halloween. You can act out the actions. Trick or treat? Give me a sweet! Happy Halloween! Give you sweets. 4. Consolidation

(1). 图示圣诞节图片,提问: A. What’s that?(What’s the festival? ) B. What do they do at Christmas?

(2). 图示节日春节,小组合作对节日图片进行谈论并表演。 They go to people’s house. They say “Happy New Year!” And so on. Step 3. 练习

1. 口语练习

(1) Halloween is an autumn festival in the UK.

Ss read the sentence three times and the speed is faster and faster. Then have a match between 2 groups.

(2) It is really fun.

Ss read the sentence from the beginning to the end. Each time one more word. Match between 2 groups.

(3) Practice the difficult sentences. 朗读课文三遍,使用学乐师生’APP录音,分享给全班同学。

2. 听力练习

(1) Play the tape-recorder.
