Our basic necessities of life can't separate from the material,we can't live with out bread ,clouths & house.so,material things are important for man's existance.
I think ,the responsbility comes with life,all of us have our own goals,we could not be satisfied with our comfortable life and we should struggle on our own way. we should try to realize our own values. However, in the development of the socialist market economy condition, some people often put material wealth of life as the only standard to measure the value of life .So, whether to be a rich man is equivalent to have realized the value of life ? The answer is no..
The value of life, in different historical and social conditions have different connotation. Different people have different understanding about the value of life. The Marx said, the value is positive, can meet the individual or some kind of social need. It comes from people's practical activities, including both physical and spiritual value; value, not only with individual characteristics, but also social characteristics. The value of a man , not only reflected in the possession of money, but mainly reflect in the contribution to the society.So,a person must work for the progress of society if he wants to realize his value.At all times: Material poverty can be changed by struggle, and the spiritual poverty is often fatal. no matter how wealthy you are , the lost of spiritual pillar may cause deeply drop,and it is easy to fall into a wrong way and be addicted to a tragedy.
Accord to it, the happiness of life is not only the material wealth, but also includs the wealth of the mind.
