导论：农村社会研究的意义与课程基本框架

一、经典论题与经典理论的讨论——对农民的基本判断：道义经济还是理性小农

“斯科特-波普金论题”的理论脉络与争论要点；前资本主义小农社会的特点；农民行为选择的动机与逻辑；“经济理性”与“生存理性”；殖民统治、市场、国家对传统小农社会的影响。
