Unit3. Weather Part B Teaching Objectives:

By the end of this lesson,Students should be able to:

1. master the five words :sunnycloudyrainysnowywindy: 2 .use the sentence pattern whats the weather like in ? Its rainy/cloudy/sunny/…”correctly;

3. understand the dialogue and repeat it. Teaching Contents: 1.B.Lets learn 2.B.Lets talk

Main Points: the new words : sunnycloudyrainysnowywindy: Teaching Difficulties: help the students use the new words to describe the weather correctly.

Teaching Aids:multi-media, word cards, blackboard. Teaching Procedures: Step1.Greetings.

T: Hello,boys and girls! Nice to meet you! Ss: Nicet to meet you ! Step2.Leading-in.歌曲导入)

T:教师根据天天好坏,出自己的心情好坏。然后道天容易影人的心情,引入课题Unit3.Weather. Step3.Presentation


1)通过画单词图片导入本单词教学

教师借助画的图,导学察,教师: Whats the weather like?学生回答:Its sunny/cloudy/rainy/snowy/windy.(通过各种形式反复操练) 2T:Today, we are going to meet a new friend(展示Mark像和名). Who is he? Can you read his name? (phonic学习Mark的名字的).Lets say hello to Mark?

Ss: Hello! Mark!(过学生和Mark 打招呼的活,熟悉Mark) T: Mark is making a phone call with Chen Jie. What are they talking about? Lets listen and answer the questions?(师带读问题生在听候板重点句子:Whats the weather like in Beijing? Its ……)

1) Whats the weather like in New York? 2) Whats the temperature in Beijing now?

设计:过认识新朋友,了解新朋友的,引出容,通过设计两个简单问题让学生集中精神听音。

听完音后,检测学以上两个问题的了解,特是第二个问题下面电话学习也是一个铺垫而且听音也是对将学习的文章有一整体了解。

重点句子:Whats the weather like in ? It is .

T: Whats the weather like in Beijing? Ss: Its 26 .Its warm.

模仿跟读

活动形式:听音模仿,注意升降调---全班分组练习。

带读完之后老师引导学生利用这些图片操练重点句子。 操练形式:带读---通过图片师生问答---全班学生分组问答。


【设计意图】:通过带读让学生能基本会读句子,会说重点句子。 Step 4 Practice

Make a new dialogue .(把第三单元的时间表达,和本课天气的表达综合运)

T: we know that at the same time but in different places, the time is not the same and the weather is not the same, too. Suppose your friend is in the other city, make a phone call with her/him and talk about the weather and time.

【设计意图】:本部分是输出环节,结合了上一单元的知识和本课的知识,新旧知识融会贯通。

Step 5 Emotional sublimation

Put on or take off clothes at the right time and take good care of yourself.

Step 6 Homework

Make a weather report for your parents.
