Teaching Goals:

Knowledge goals:

1. Get the Students to learn the useful new words and expressions in this part

2. Enable the Students to learn how to use what they’ve learnt to do first aid treatment for burns correctly.

3. Have the Ss learn the reading skills of getting the main idea of each part of the passage . Ability goals:

1. Develop the students’ reading ability and let them learn different reading skills.

2. Enable the students to know about burns and the first aid treatments for burns. Emotional goals:

1. Stimulate the students’ interest in first aid and learn to protect themselves or help others when something happens 2. Develop students’ sense of cooperative learning Teaching important points 1. Improve the Ss’ reading abilities.

2. Learn how to use what they’ve learnt to do first aid treatment for burns correctly.

1. How to improve the Ss’ reading abilities.
