We will talk about food today, and I will talk something about food safety in china. two weeks ago ,on March 17th,Huang Boa famous Chinese actor, send a micro blogging saying no one-off chopsticks isn’t for environmental protection, just for surviving in the world .Yes ,just for surviving .maybe this is a small incident, but there is a big food safety problem in it . What’s food safety?according to WHO, Food safety is a problem that poisonous and harmful substances in food effect public health.it recalls me the KFC Sudan accident in 2005,and the Melamine accident in 2008. “Shoo Rou Jing” poisoning accident in Guangzhou and Shanghai in 2006. Why there are so many food safety accidents in our life? The first one is Profit driving, and at the same time the professional and manager lack professional knowledge and safety-crisis consciousness in food corporation. the lack of effective regulation The most important reason—government，there are many shortcomings in the food safety supervision and management model in China, and the current situation of food safety is still very critical Five days ago, cctv reports that some people watering the wheat by using the waste of a Paper Mill.it reports that they don’t dare to eat what they plant .if you often watch the news ,you must not miss the 100 thousand dead pigs in Huangpu river. Facing the serious problems in food, what should we do ?and what about our government ? Government’s duty Carry out professional morality education and legal education actively, improve food jobholders’ professionalism. Strengthen research of the food technology, improve the comprehensive competitiveness of food industry. Personal duty Enhance our recognition ability of good food and bad food. Strengthen awareness of self-protection Obviously，From Whole, the food safety situation is not optimistic Some Measures –Examples Beijing now requires restaurants to inform customers about all food additives contained in their self-made beverages and food sauces by posting the lists on menus or other public places.
