Beijing's air pollution reached dangerous levels yet again in the early spring at this year, marking the third consecutive day of severe smog, municipal environmental authorities said. How does the phenomenon produce? The municipal environmental monitoring center said readings for PM2.5, or airborneparticles measuring less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter, had reached more than 700 micrograms per square meter at several monitoring stations in Beijing。"These figures represent extremely bad pollution. Pollutants have gradually accumulated over the course of recent windless days, making the air quality even worse," said Zhu Tong, a professor from Peking University. We all know that clean air is important to good health .wherever you go and whatever you do,you are alawys surrounded by a sea of gases that we can air ,they may be absorbed by our bodies and make us ill. Therefore, the following actions should be taken.As far as I kan see, first, we should apply the most cutting-edge technologies in order to adopt new forms of energy as substitutes for fossil fuels. Second, try hard to develop possible transportation means, which are enviromental friendly. So that the citizens can reduce the dependence on cars. In short, our humans should take responsibilities for the air pollution and have to find ways to solve this problem.
