2019高考英语口语：用英语表示祝贺 一、经典口语 A. 表示祝贺 Congratulations. 祝贺你;祝贺祝贺;恭喜恭喜。 Congratulations on your new job. 祝贺你有了新的工作。 Congratulations on passing the exam. 祝贺你通过了考试。 Congratulations to you all. 祝贺你们大家。 B. 对祝贺的回答 Thank you. 谢谢。 二、使用指南 1. 表示祝贺时，用得最多的两个词是congratulate 和 congratulations。使用它们时应注意以下几点： (1) congratulate 是动词，一般要以“人”作宾语，而不以“事”作宾语。若要具体表明是因为某事而祝贺某人，要用介词 on，即说成 congratulate sb on sth。 (2) congratulation 是名词，且通常用复数形式。它能够单独使用，也可在其后接介词短语来说明是因何事而祝贺(用on)或向谁祝贺(用to)。 (3) congratulate 以及 congratulations 表示祝贺时，可用于成功、获胜、结婚、毕业以及生日等场合，但一般不用于节日致词。 2. 中国人以谦虚为美德，面对祝贺时，人们往往回答说“没什么”或“哪里，哪里”。但在用英语中，人们通常用感谢来回答祝贺。如果要想谦虚一番，能够说 I’m just very lucky (我仅仅很幸运而已)。 三、实战对话 Dialogue One 对话1 A： Congratulations on passing the college entrance examinations. 祝贺你通过了高考。 B： Thank you. 谢谢。 Dialogue Two 对话2 A： I’m the general manager now! 我现在是总经理了。 B： Congratulations. 祝贺你。 Dialogue Three 对话3 A： It’s your birthday today? Congratulations! 今天是你的生日? 祝贺祝贺! B： Thanks. 谢谢。 Dialogue Four 对话4 A： I heard you won the first place in the quiz. What marvelous news! Congratulations! 听说你在这次知识竞赛中获得了第一名。真了不起! 祝贺你! B： Thanks.
