2019 高考英语口语：用英语表示祝贺 一、经典口语 A. 表示祝贺 Congratulations. 祝贺你 ; 祝贺祝贺 ; 恭喜恭喜。 Congratulations on your new job. 祝贺你有了新的工作。 Congratulations on passing the exam. 祝贺你通过了考试。 Congratulations to you all. 祝贺你们大家。 B. 对祝贺的回答 Thank you. 谢谢。 二、使用指南 1. 表示祝贺时，用得最多的两个词是 congratulate 和 congratulations 。使用它们时应注意以下几点： (1) congratulate 是动词，一般要以“人”作宾语，而不以“事” 作宾语。若要具体表明是因为某事而祝贺某人，要用介词 on ，即说成 congratulate sb on sth 。 (2) congratulation 是名词，且通常用复数形式。它能够单独使 用，也可在其后接介词短语来说明是因何事而祝贺 ( 用 to) 。 (3) congratulate 以及 congratulations 表示祝贺时，可用于 成功、获胜、结婚、毕业以及生日等场合，但一般不用于节日致词。 2. 中国人以谦虚为美德，面对祝贺时，人们往往回答说“没什么” 或“哪里，哪里”。但在用英语中，人们通常用感谢来回答祝贺。如(用on)或向谁祝贺 果要想谦虚一番，能够说 I 'm just very lucky （ 已）。 三、实战对话 Dialogue One 对话 1 我仅仅很幸运而 A： Congratulations on passing the college entrance examinations. 祝贺你通过了高考。 B： Thank you. 谢谢。 Dialogue Two 对话 2 A： I 'm the general manager now! 我现在是总经理了。 B： Congratulations.
