More people return home for this festival that any other Chinese festival. The spring festival falls on the 1st day of the first lunar month. Today people will enjoy the full moon and eat moon cakes on that day. This day was chosen because of the fullness of the moon at this time. Winter Solstice Festival Was started over 2500 years ago. Takes place on December 22 or 23. This is the shortest day light hours of any day of the year. Good things will become stronger and stronger after this day. People gather and eat food and celebrate that daylight hours are getting longer. Conclusion These are the main festivals of the Chinese culture.
