Dear Sir or Madam, I have great pleasure to have been asked to provide a letter of recommendation for Liu Yang. I have known him since 2009 when he took of my courses, his performance in both his major Automobile Service Engineering Program and English course was outstanding. I highly recommend this remarkable young person to your university for further education. In 2009, Liu Yang was in my course of automobile computer controlling and vehicle detecting test and diagnosis. He participated in all the class discussion with obvious interest and he made valuable contributions. In one of chatting with him after class, Liu Yang consulted some questions on learning methods and would like to seek advice from me, I found that he is capable of clear logical analysis of complex subjects, I also found that he is fond of weeding through the old to bring forth the new and he didn’t rigidly adhere to the textbooks. As a Chinese student, he is interested in practice projects and demonstrated a profound understanding, so I’m in favor of him when I learned that he want to go abroad for further education, because there is big difference between China and foreign countries in learning atmosphere and learning methods.
