Its establishment and development are of great significance for the cross-cukural communication. With more and more international commu- nication and cooperation today, this theory＇s practicality turns out to be more and more outstanding. Thus, it appeals to many scholars, whose current study mainly focuses on the definition and features of cultural schema, and application of cultural schema theory to translation process.
