Section B 2a-2e 时间：2016年11月15日 班级：2018级1班 课型：阅读课 一．学情及教材分析 这个班是我初二新接的班级。虽然英语成绩在年级中属于前列，但班上没有英语学习特别拨尖的同学，绝大多数同学英语学习能力的基础居中，只是基础太差和学习成绩太滞后的同学没有其他班多。这个班一直以来课堂发言都不太积极，课堂表现比较浮躁，进入初二以后，由于年龄段的原因和英语学习难度加大的原因，更开始出现分化现象。接班半个学期以后，为了调动他们上课的积极性，促使他们开动英语思维，我采取了很多办法，同学们课堂积极发言的情况有了一定的改观，但遇到比较有思考性的问题，学生还是打不开思路，甚至不敢开口。 本堂课是本单元的第四课时，是一节阅读课。是关于机器人的一篇文章，来自新目标上一版本教材八下第一单元的Reading，但文章有了一定的改动，对阅读的要求也完全不同了。本课时的教学目标是让学生综合运用本单元所学的一般将来时阅读了解关于机器人的信息，并预测未来机器人的发展情况。因为信息比较散乱，在每个段落都在对机器人的形态和能力进行介绍，并穿插了科学家们的观点和对未来机器人的预测，所以阅读时并不侧重文本结构的分析，我仍然采用Mind-map的形式，并以机器人的形状，引导学生阅读文章，寻找关于机器人的信息，并强调现在机器人和未来机器人的对比，这样学生能更好的读懂文章，并学会在文章中寻找可用信息，对文章有一个整体了解，并能运用目标语言谈论自己对未来机器人的预测。因为文章很长，内容也相对比较枯燥，对初二上的学生来讲，这节课可能看起来会稍显沉闷，但期待学生能安静阅读，并学会抓信息和归纳信息。 二．教学目标 1.知识目标 词汇目标 学生们识记、理解和运用下列词汇: human servant, shape, over and over again 语言目标 Will you have your own robot? What will the robots be like in the future? There will be more robots in the future. 2. 能力目标 预测未来 学会由助动词will构成的一般将来时 3. 情感目标 通过谈论自己对未来机器人的设想，了解科技发展的神奇和重要性。 三．教学重及难点 重点及难点：一般将来时的运用，了解阅读说明文的一些策略。 四．设计思路 1．通过观看一段video刺激视觉，进行阅读前的热身。 2．提出关于机器人的一些疑问，并以scan的形式对文章进行初步了解。 3．分步完成Mind-map，学生详细阅读文章，读懂文章。 4．通过采访对话的形式，再现文章信息，运用目标语言分享交流信息。 5．通过完成2d补全信息的任务，了解科学家们对未来机器人的观点。并引导学生谈论自己的观点。 6．紧扣主题Will you have your own robot，学生预测自己理想中的未来机器人。 五．学习策略 在阅读中学会抓文章主题，通过语言学习表达自己的观点和看法。 六．教学手段：使用多媒体、白板& 黑板等辅助工具。 七．教学过程 Procedures Pre-reading Teacher’s activities 1.Ask students to tell their ideas about robots 2.Have students watch the video and think about robots. 1.Have Ss scan the article and match each paragraph with the question 2. Have students finish the mind-map 3.Have students interview scientists. 4.Have students fill in the blanks in the paragraph with the words from the article 4.Have students discuss their own opinions about scientists’ opinions about future 1. Ask students if they agree with the scientists and why 2. Have students take a conversation about their own future robots Students’ activities 1.Some students tell their ideas in class 2.Watch the video and discuss about robots. 1.Scan the article and match 2. Finish mind-map 3. Work in pairs to talk about robots 4. Fill in the blanks 4. Find out scientists’ opinions about robots 1.Tell their opinions about scientists’ predictions 2. Work in pairs to talk about their own future robots Purpose -- To warm up the atmosphere and lead students to learn about the topic While-reading -- Students get to know about this article preliminarily -- To sort out robots’ looks and abilities Post-reading - Students get a clear picture about robots Put what they learnt into their own life.
