My favourite poetry and the story behind it Saying good-bye to Cambridge againis my favourite poetry. This poetry was written by a famous poet in the modern China. His name is XuZhimo. XuZhimo was born in 1897 in the south of China. After he finished Political Economics in American, he met Russell in Cambridge and studied there. Cambridge was an important turning point for his poet life. He found his poet fate there,and began to creation. 1928,XuZhimo went to Cambridge again. On the way back China, he wrote the famous poetry- Saying good-bye to Cambridge again in English.After that,a not well-known Chinese poets translation into Chinese. From that timeXuZhimo and this poetry in modern China occupies an important position. The poetry was emersion many details of Cambridge, and he gave them obsessionin his poetry. He misses the beautiful and the familiar scenery, but they had to left in the real.This exquisite sad and the beautiful scenery formed contrast. In the light lost, we can feel the author’s miss and love for his university. The first female architects in Chinese history.When she was 16, she deeply attracted XuZhimo when both of them learned in Cambridge. Mr.Xu is older seven years than her. He divorced his wife for Lin Huiyin,but never become her lover.In the end,XuZhimo wrote this poetry for expression of her obsession. The second is about Lu Xiaoman, Xuzhimo's widow.Shewas also a beauty.Lu Xiaomanwasa famous artist. She wasgood at drama, the article was well written.LiuXiaomanwas very famousin communities, but in the conservative era, she and XuZhimo’s lovewas opposition by XuZhimo’ family. So someone guesses: XuZhimowrote down this poem because he wasworry oftheir love. 1931,Novenber 19th.Xu Zhimoflew to Beijing for take a part in Lin Huiyin’speech.The plane crashed into the mountains because of fog .XuZhimodied at time.
