比较级和最高级 1．形容词和副词有原级、比较级和最高级。原来的形式称为原级，表示“比较……”的称为比较级，表示“最……"的称为最高级。形容词和副词的比较级和最高级的变化方法如下： （1）符合规则的： 情 况 加 法 例 词 small- smaller- 一般情况 直接加-er；—est smallest fast—faster-fastest nice—nicer—nicest 以不发音的e结直接加—r；—st 尾的词 st dry-drier-driest lazy-lazier—laziest 以“辅音字母+y”变y为i再加—er；结尾的词 —est t； heavy—heavier-heaviest thin—thinner-thinne以一个辅音字母辅音字母双写再加结尾的重读闭音—er；-est 节词 hot—hotter-hottest important—more important—most important interesting—more 多音节词和部分双音节词 在单词前面加more和most interesting—most interesting convenient—more convenient-most convenient (2）不规则的形容词和副词的比较级和最高级如下表： big-bigger-biggest st easy—easier—easieslarge—larger—large比较级和最高级 原级 good/wel比较级 最高级 better l bad/ill many/mucmore h little far best worse worst most less farther/further least farthest/furthest （2）形容词和副词的比较级的用法如下: ①在表示程度相同时，用“as＋形容词或副词的原级＋as＋比较状语从句"句型。例如： Jim is as tall as his brother． Bruce didn't come to the classroom as early as Dick yesterday． ②在表示一方不如另一方时，“not as ／so＋形容词或副词的原级＋as＋比较状语从句"句型。例如: Lesson Three is not so easy as Lesson Two．It's much more difficult．第三课不如第二课简单，它难一些. ③在表示一方超过另一方时，要用“形容词或副词比较级＋ than ＋比较状语从句”句型。例如： Peter is fatter than his brother． ④在表示三个或三个以上的人或事物中程度最高时，用句型“the ＋形容词或副词的最高级（＋名词）＋in ／of ／among（名词的复数形式或代词的宾格）"，副词的最高级前面的the可以省略。例如： Which do you like best，tea，orange juice or water？ Of all stars,the sun is the nearest to the earth．所有星体中，太阳离地球是最近的。 —Which is the hottest season of the year? -Summer． —一年中哪一个季节最热？ -夏季。 ⑤有些形容词由于受本身涵义的限制，没有比较级和最高级。如:dead，empty,round(圆的）,sure，woolen等。例如: This bottle is empty．There's no water in it． ⑥形容词比较级前面常用much，far，even，a lot，a little等词修饰。例如: I am a little stronger than you．我比你强壮一点儿。 This street is much straighter than that one．这条路比那条直的多。 In this country,it’s very cold in November,but it’s even colder in December． （3）级别之间的转换 ①原级与比较级之间的转换 A．倍数＋as．．．as→倍数＋比较级＋than.例如： This book is twice as thick as that one．→ This book is once thicker than that one． 本文来源：https://www.dywdw.cn/44edb9faa4c30c22590102020740be1e640eccba.html
