• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • 英文书信 英文书信的构成 一般来说，英文书信由六大部分组成，即信头（Heading）、信内地址（Inside Address）、称呼（Salutation）、正文（Body of Letter）、信尾客套语（Complimentary Close）、署名（Signature），当然有些时候书信后面还有附言（Postscript）、附件（Enclosure）部分。 称呼 称呼由信内地址下方一两行处顶格写起，称呼后面一般用逗号。 1）写给亲朋好友或熟人时，用Dear或My dear再加上表示亲朋关系的称呼或直呼其名。（英式的My dear比Dear亲切；美式的Dear比My Dear亲切）。例如：My dear father，Dear Jack等。 2）下属写给上司或双方关系比较正式时，一般用“Dear Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms+surname姓”作为称呼。 3）商务类信函常用Dear Sir, Dear Madam或Gentlemen。注意：Gentlemen总是以复数形式出现，前不加Dear，是Dear Sir的复数形式。当收信人是女性，且不知道婚否，应该用Ms.，也就是“……女士”。 4）也可以用头衔、职位、职称、学位等加在姓氏及名字之前。若不知道对方的名字，只知道职务，也可以用其职务为称呼语。例如：Dear Personnel Manager或Dear Prof. Jefferson。 5）当不能确定收信人是哪位时，可以用Dear Sirs, Dear Madam or Sir或To whom it may concern等。 信尾客套语 信尾客套语通常写在正文下面的一、二行的偏右方开始写出。开头字母必须要大写，以后的字母则用小写，最后的一个词后面用逗号。 1）写给亲戚、家人时，多用Your loving grandfather, Lovingly yours, Lovingly等。 2）写给熟人、朋友时，多用Yours affectionately, Yours cordially等。 3）写给上级、长辈时，多用Yours respectfully(Respectfully yours), Yours obediently(Obediently yours)等。 4）商务信函一般是用Sincerely yours(Yours sincerely), Truly yours(Yours truly), Faithfully yours(Yours faithfully)等。 附言附件 通常一封信写完后，若突然想起还有事情需要补充，这时可以在信件下面左下方顶格处标注P.S（postscript）.，并写上遗漏的话，一般而言，附注比较简明扼要。值得注意的是，在正式的信函中，应该尽量避免使用附注。 如果信件中有附件的话，也可在信纸的左下角，标示Encl: 或Enc:, 例如：Encl: Invoice内附发票 Enc: 3 photos内附三张照片 英文信件的格式 齐头式 缩进式 折中式 • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • 如何写邀请信 详细说明邀请对方参加活动的内容以及举行这项活动的目的。 开头 提供细节，比如时间、地点等。如有必要可说明参加者抵达及活动结束的时间。 实用例句 1. I sincerely hope you will be with us. 诚挚希望您能够参加。 2. We do hope you can join us.强调 衷心希望你们能够光临。 3. I hope you will be able to attend. 希望您能出席。 4. Please do come to my wedding ceremony. 请务必出席我的婚礼。 5. We look forward to seeing you in the conference. 期望您能出席会议。 6. I am going to have a birthday party this weekend. 我这个周末要举行生日派对。 实用例句 7. I’ve already sent the birthday party invitation to you. 我已经把生日派对邀请函寄给你了。 8. We would be very pleased if you could come. 如果你能参加，我们将会很高兴。 9. I’d like to invite you to our wedding ceremony. 我想邀请您参加我们的婚礼。 10. I hope you could take part in our anniversary party. 我希望您能参加我们的周年纪念派对。 11. Would you do me a favor by joining my birthday? 请参加我的生日聚会，好吗？ 12. You are cordially invited to the dinner party. 诚挚地邀请您参加这次晚宴。 实用例句 13. I have pleasure in inviting you to attend our special conference. 很荣幸邀请您参加我们举办的特别会议。 14. We should be very delighted if you could honor us with your presence. 若能光临，我们将十分高兴。 15. We are prepared to pay all your expenses. 我们会支付您的全部开销。 16. I would appreciate it if you could give me your answer. 如果您能回复邀请，我将不胜感激。 17. Kindly respond on or before November 20, 2013. 请于2013年11月20日之前回复。 18. Thank you very much. We’ll surely come. 非常感谢，我们一定会去。 2. I would be delighted to come. 我很乐意前往。 3. It will be our pleasure to attend your wedding. 能出席你的婚礼是我们的荣幸。 4. Thank you very much for the invitation to your birthday party on October 7. We would love to come. 非常感谢你邀请我们参加10月7日举行的生日聚会，我们很乐意前往。 5. Nothing could give us more pleasure than accepting your kind invitation. 我们最高兴的莫过于接受你的盛情之邀了。 实用例句 6. What a pity! I accepted another invitation on that day!（I have another opporintaint） 太遗憾了，那天我已经有约在先了。 7. Unfortunately, I have some prior engagement on Sunday. 真可惜，我这周日已经有其他安排了。 8. I feel terribly sorry for missing the chance of such a happy get-together. 错过这么欢乐的聚会使我深感遗憾。 9. Please accept my sincere regrets for not being able to join you at your wedding at that time. 届时不能参加你的婚宴，我深感遗憾。 10. I really wish I could go with you, but I promised to help my colleague move this weekend. 我真希望能跟你一起去，但是我已经答应同事周末帮他搬家了。 实用例句 11.
